His Perfect Timing
“And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hastened not to go down for about a whole day.” — Joshua 10:13
Joshua and the armies of Israel needed God to intervene, and God came through in a mighty way. You see that the above scripture makes it clear that God actually stopped the rotation of the Earth! You might say that this was impossible — but not for our God!
Luke 1:37 reads, “For nothing is impossible with God.”
So, are you in a place where you need God to intervene on your behalf? Does the situation you’re in or the need you’ve been praying for line up with His will and desires?
Jeremiah 32:27 reads, “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for Me?”
There is nothing too difficult for our God. He might not always come through in our timing, but He always comes through!
I love this quote: “If God puts you on hold, don’t hang up!” Remember, He loves you and will never forsake you. That’s a promise you can hang your hat on!
